Poetry is widely used to express and depict feelings and emotions to the reader. For many, it’s an act of self-expression. Most effectively communicated through description of senses. The senses are sight, hearing, touch, taste and smell. Poets can express their thoughts and feelings about anything, so there’s really no boundary in themes for poetry.
